This breakfast forum is an informal avenue for all in-house Learning & Development leaders to meet and learn from one another. This is not a talk, but a platform for you to network and discuss your challenges in enhancing corporate learning. This is the platform to share resources, share success stories and to learn from your peers who have been there and done that! You may have come across many HR events/conferences, but they are not specifically focused in the area of Corporate Learning & Development. Each session of this breakfast forum covers a specific topic-of-the-day, and is designed to cater  to the needs of corporate learning and development.

3. Who is this breakfast forum for?

This breakfast forum is for all in-house learning & development practitioners based in Malaysia. Our guests include people who are in charge of Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Development, Training & Human Resources from various corporations and GLCs in Malaysia.

4. Who will be facilitating the breakfast forum?

This breakfast forum will be facilitated by Mr. Murphy Lum, or fondly known as Coach Murphy. He is the Founder & Chief Executive Coach of People Coaching Works Sdn Bhd.

5. Can a freelance HR practitioner/consultant participate in this breakfast forum?

For the time being, this forum is only open to in-house L&D practitioners.

6. How much does it cost?

This event is fully sponsored by People Coaching Works Sdn Bhd and our associates for the benefit of internal research purposes and for the benefit of in-house L&D practitioners.

7. Can I bring along my boss/colleague?

To ensure a good variety of representatives from various industries, this forum practices ONE company ONE guest policy. As this forum is held every 1-2 months, you and your boss/colleague could take turns to represent your company to contribute on different topics.

8. Can I send my subordinate to represent me?

If you as the head of department is unable to represent your company in this breakfast forum, you are allowed to send your subordinate to represent you. The proxy should be outspoken and have relevant experience & knowledge in the area of corporate learning to be discussed during the forum.

9. Can I suggest a topic for discussion?

Yes, you certainly can and suggested topic will be considered by the Chief Facilitator in the interest of all participants. In addition to that, you could also ask relevant questions pertaining to the topic of the day by submitting via our website at least 2 days prior to the Breakfast Forum?

10. Why are the seats limited to only 15 pax?

Based on our numerous experience in organizing this breakfast forum, 12 – 15 pax is the best group size. The small-group setting gives each participant sufficient time to speak, share experiences and ask relevant questions.

11. Do you serve vegetarian food?

Please inform the organizer in advance should you require vegetarian food. Special arrangements can be made.
